As a heart-based, innovative “adventure-travel” company, our mission is to elevate the human experience through Sacred Travel.

     Our team at Running Buffalo Journeys has led over 70 conscious and eco-friendly adventure tours all throughout Mexico and Central America. We’ve found that when traveling as a tribe – and especially when mixed with visiting sacred sites – that profound transformation occurs on the individual and group level.

If you really knew us, you would know our intentions for creating Running Buffalo Journeys are:

1. To use Adventure Travel as a vehicle to remember our purpose on this planet

We know that when we connect with the wisdom from our Ancestors, it re-ignites magic that has been lying dormant for centuries.  This magic has the potential to fully activate the gifts we came to share… right now.

2.  To move beyond sustainability to Thrive-ability, on EVERY level

- We have a value system for how/where we choose to invest money; sending it directly into the good families of the communities we’re so blessed to be welcomed into.

- Mixing ancestral wisdom with new technologies (esp “free energy” technologies).  We actively facilitate the mutual sharing of cultures, ideas, and traditions.

- Supporting ALL the inspiring artists, leaders, Elders, conscious businesses, musicians, eco-craftsmen, and everyone involved in progressive, local, and organic agriculture.

- Learning firsthand how the rainforest is our worlds greatest natural pharmacy, so we can promote the sharing and value of this knowledge.

3.  To share heart-felt love ♥

Through all of our journeys and experiences, we have come to know that we are all one on this planet – and that the power from each of our hearts’ has the ability to transform our world.  On all of our adventures we share real heartfelt love with the communities we visit… we bring heartfelt love up with us to the top of mysterious pyramids… we share heartfelt love deep down in the limestone, jungle caves… and we gift heartfelt love in the crystals we offer to the sacred water we swim in.  Above all, our biggest gifts’ are the smiles and hugs we share with all the people along the journey, and with each other.
